Live the Dream
with Captain Ryan Muntin on the
crystal clear waters of sunny Key West,
Florida.
Captain Ryan,
a native of Michigan, grew up fishing the
Northern lakes and rivers of the upper and
lower Peninsulas. After graduating from
Michigan State with a BA in business
management, Ryan came to Key West and turned
his business skills to the business of
fishing!
Step aboard
his beautiful 28’ Whitewater, The
Piscivorous. The Piscivorous was
designed and built exclusively for the
purpose of locating, stalking and catching
big game fish.
In the fall
and winter, Captain Ryan puts large amounts
of live bait (pilchards, thread-fins, and
blue runners) in his 90 gallon live well.
He heads to offshore waters, ready to pounce
on any sailfish, black fin tuna or wahoo
that swim by, The Piscivorous.
In the
spring and summer, Captain Ryan keeps
literally tons of frozen Shrimp Boat Trash
(bait) available to feed the hefty tarpon
that migrate through the Key West
Harbor. When the dolphin show, he is
back offshore looking to catch some good
table fare.
Anytime in
between, Captain Ryan has hundreds of
wrecks and GPS coordinates that produce
plenty of action for Grouper, Mutton
Snapper, Kingfish, Permit, Cobia and Yellow
Tail Snapper. If its teeth you’re
looking for, Shark trips can be a lot
of fun for the whole family.
After a long
day on the water, have your catch cooked at
the dockside restaurant, Hurricane Joe’s Bar
and Grill, or exchange fishing stories with
the captain over a cold beer. So, live the
Florida Key’s dream and book a trip with
Piscivorous Charters.
The
Piscivorous has twin 225 Mercury Optimax
outboard engines.
